Rookies Baseball - General Overview

Rookies baseball is a pitching machine league where players are taught fielding, hitting, and base running skills. The catcher position is also introduced at this level. Rookies games are generally 3-4 innings long and take about 80 minutes to complete.

Dugout Captain helps our coaches get going with practice plans, game rules, and we encourage creativity and energy to keep it moving and fun.

By the end of the season kids should know general rules, have improved their skill set (throwing, catching, hitting and fielding) and learned some more advanced rules like tag ups,  not running on a pop up with less than two outs and the difference between force outs and tag outs.
