ATTENTION 7th and 8th Grade Baseball Players...

We are reaching out to inform you of some changes in our Registration options this year. In the past there were Babe Ruth, White Tournament Team and also Juniors baseball options for this age group. This year ALL 7th and 8th graders will register for Juniors. There will be one tryout for all 7th graders and one tryout for all 8th graders.  

Based on those tryouts, we will create as many teams as needed so ALL Juniors age kids will be placed on a team to play in the Badgerland Teeners League – which will include weeknight home games at our normal Juniors sites in SP (CHUMS, Sacred Hearts, Summit) but will also have some weeknight travel games in other local communities.  These games will give our players the chance to compete against teams from other communities other than just the same few in-house teams as in the past. Badgerland splits the grade levels into tiers so teams will be competing against similar level of play. 

The 7th and 8th graders that are placed on the Red and White teams will also compete in weekend tournaments. All other teams will compete only in league.

If you have already registered for Juniors baseball you do not need to do anything else. If you signed up for Babe Ruth or 13/14 White Tournament Team – you will need to re-register for Juniors.  The cost will be $200 – but there will be added tournament costs for the Red and White teams which will be shared once tryouts are completed. 

It is also important to note that registration will close earlier for Juniors than for the rest of our in-house leagues. Juniors registration needs to be complete by March 19.Tryout details will be shared the closer we get to the actual date – but mark your calendars for Saturday, April 17th.

Hello SPYBAS Families, 

To say we have missed you would be an understatement. We are so very much looking ahead to an exciting 2021 in hopes that the odds will be in our favor to once again be able to use our fantastic baseball and softball facilities. 

With that said, we are planning on opening up registration for the 2021 season on February 1st. You can visit spybas.com in order to register – and remember, there are separate registration links for League, Tournament Team and Coaching Volunteers. (more details on the website for step by step registration details will be available soon)

We know the current orders do not dictate a positive outlook at this time and we are in constant contact with PHMDC and other city/county resources to do what it will take to have as regular a season as possible. We are choosing to forge ahead with normal season plans and please know – we have several contingency plans if needed – delaying start dates, condensing the season, etc.
